Joy Bauer – During the interview process for the “Today Show”, nutritionist Joy Bauer listened to my story and challenged me to finish what I started by using her new book, “Joy’s LIFE Diet: Four Steps to Thin Forever”. It is filled with wonderful recipes and her approach to eating healthy paid off for me.
Suzanne Somers — “Eat, Cheat, and Melt the Fat Away” — I lost my first 100 pounds using her plan as a guide to fashion my new lifestyle.
Bob Greene — “Bob Greene’s Total Body Makeover” — He brings to light that losing weight has just as much to do with your mind as it does with your body.
Jorge Cruise — “The 3-Hour Diet” — This plan brought to light that food is fuel for your body and that you need to fashion your eating plan so that your body runs efficiently.
Fred A. Stutman, M.D. — “100 Weight-Loss Tips that Really Work” — This book is great compilation of common-sense ways to change your approach to eating.
Philip L. Goglia —“Turn Up the Heat” — The book has a great two-week, quick-start program and tips on keeping your body properly fueled.
A Healthier You: Based on the Dietary Guidelines for Americans. By the Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion. Check the website for just how much activity is needed to work off the larger portions of food.
